Hello, I am glad I found this site, I have a fairly new riding toro mower, I had to put on a new belt today and there is no tenison device that I can find, my book shows nothing about the belt tenison... HELP

There must be a tensioner somewhere. How else could you engage it? Keep looking. Some units have one belt that is always tight, but it has to have an engagement pulley on a belt somewhere.

I had to hook a spring back up with the new belt, one belt does it all, there was a little black thing... that had a pin in it. Could that be it? Sorry, don't know much about mowers... but trying to learn so I can mow this farm
