Thanks for your help

My son has been on a 504 for 6 years. At this point, just entering the high school, he has very minimal accommodations. I went to meeet with the new principal only to describe my son so that when they were putting together the teachers they would have the description of his disabiity in mind, to my surprise, questionnaire was asked of me and I was informed that he no longer qualified for a 504... is that legal? Aren't I grandfathered in? In fact, can someone tell me if it is not true that I don't even need a signature or review on a 504 yearly. I want to forget that whole meting ever happened and continue on with my legal 504accomadtions.
Who knows the law of the 504??
Help, I'm desperate.
And... thank you.
Kerrie
