[F]The following population of N=4 values is to be sampled by using a sample size of n=2: 3, 7,6,9.

a. If sampling is done without replacement, how many different samples could be obtained?

b. Determine the value of X for each of the samples.

c. Find the sampling distribution of X and graph the results.

3. Determine the mean of the population. Compare the population mean to the sample means. What is the probability of selecting a sample that provides an exact estimate of the population mean?

For the first part, how many ways can you choose 2 items out of 4?
You should be able to list them out. There aren't that many.

Then find the average of those samples.

Find the average of the 4 and compare your results from part 2.
