I received unknow person's email from YAhoo.com.ph and would like to search it's backround informations. I got the IP address and the person's email address only. Please help. Thanks

Why not just delete it if you don't know who it is from?

You can contact the IP company ( unless it is dial up) and have the police do a check if there is something illegal going on.

The only info YOU can get is the ISP that issued the IP address. To get anything more you would need a court order.

If you have the IP address, go to Whois at ARIN: WHOIS Database Search (http://ws.arin.net/whois) and run the search.

The IP in the header will ONLY show the location of the e-mail server and nowt else.
