I was in the middle of using my Troy-Built blower/vac when it ran out of gas. It made a funny clicking noise when it stopped running. After I refilled the reservoir with gas, I was unable to restart it. The cord does not seem to pull out completely and therefore won't start the engine. Any ideas?

There is a good possibility that he cooling fins on the engine got clogged with leaves and the engine overheated. The cylinder wall is usually made of aluminum. I think that there is internal engine damage.

Or it could be that there is a screw loose in the blower cooling fin wheel and hanging the fins, or a piece of the fins could be broken off and hanging it. Remove the outer housing and visually inspect unit.
