My daughter is still in college and in our divorce agreement was to have support until she reaches 22 if she is a full time student Massachusetts now has guidelines to the age of 23 when the child is a full time student. Is it possible to ask for a modification to the original agreement?

Hi,
In this day and age of the courts, it's possible to ask for anything! Whether the person gets it, is another story.
Please check with your lawyer about the chances of having to pay for another year.
Best of luck,

Probably not. Usually such provisions are "grandfathered" so that whatever the law stipulated at the time of the original judgment is what remains in effect. Also, your divorce decree is binding and therefore not subject to change unless either party can demonstrate extraordinary circumstances that would warrant a modification. That being the case, support for your daughter will likely cease when she reaces age 22. Consult with an attorney for full information.
