Is it right to suspect my husband is cheating physically if you have found text messeages of sexual content to and from other women.

Why not ask him instead of assuming...
Ask him about it and find out the truth, it will save a lot of wondering.

I did. He stated no there was no physical contact. Just hard to believe when time was available for event to happen. Trust has become an issue for me:(

I would be concerned myself. I understand what you are going through. Even if there is nothing physical I, personally, consider it emotional cheating.

It would make a red flag go up for me. Did he give a reason as to why this is going on?

Yes I stated that too! We started and stopped counseling in reference to this situation. I feel trapped and hurt. Just don't trust him anymore.:(

Since you asked him and he denies any physical contact, you could hire a private investigator to follow him. You have trust issues - what can your husband do for you and for the marriage that would bring that trust back? You said you started and stopped counseling. Was it you who started and stopped the sessions? Or did your husband stop the sessions or cause the sessions to end because he could not answer your questions?

If this persists, what are you willing to do next? Are you willing to go and talk to a divorce attorney? How much sense does it make to stay where you feel trapped and lied to?

I felt obligated to our children. I have biological and two step sons involved in this situation. I felt like this relationship should be over. I am confused about the others involved in this. My son is only 17 months. The others are 10 and eight. We've been together 8 years. My boys live with us and have since 9months and 3 yrs. I feel so helpless.

Can you get him back into marriage counseling? If he will not go, there is nothing that says you cannot go to a counselor. While you cannot make your husband follow through, unless you presented an ultimatum, you certainly have the right to keep your own emotional and mental health a priority.
