When you go to the court house and apply for the marriage license, ask the clerk of court. You can make the appointment for the ceremony, the clerk will look at the Judge's schedule. You will need two witnesses to come with you for the ceremony, so that they can sign the final papers.
Now you can also have this ceremony in a chapel, outdoors, in the backyard of your home (or the home of your parents, etc.), in the park, someplace that has a particular meaning for the two of you. You do not need the courthouse, but you will need a justice of the peace or a minister.

In most states you'll go to the county courthouse of where at least one of you live. Just give them a call, they'll tell you everything you need to know. Some counties might even have websites that can give you the right info. :)
Here... I googled it for you
