Grey water is collected from the run off from sinks, showers and laundry machines. It's not meant for drinking.
Check this: Gray Water (http://www.sahra.arizona.edu/programs/water_cons/tips/re-use/gray.htm)

Please explain "new water tank"? Hot water heater? Pressure tank on a pump? Water storage tank? Now explain your definition of "gray water"? I know what mine is, (and I wouldn't drink it) but I'm interested in yours. What was your reason for having the tank installed? Back to you! Tom

Pressure tank on a pump and at first the water was really grey and tasted funny and now it is clear and still tastes yukky, our old well water pump was so loud and it ran continuously so we figured it needed replacing so a plumber told us that the bladder in the tank was shot also so he replaced it we got a used pump and a new tank for 1100.00 do you think we got a good deal?

Sounds like there was some crud or bacteria in the used pump that got into your system. I would backflush the system using chlorine, then run the water on all fixtures until it tastes normal. Good luck, Tom
