I have a KENOWA 8000 PORTABLE GAS GENERATOR I used it last year with no ploblems, this year I got it out & ready for this year and it does not put out any A/C current? The engine runs & sounds great. I have checked everything that I could I changed the capacitor & the VOLTAGE SELECT SWITCH I have also checked the wiring to make sure there were none disconnected.I am at a stand still. What else could I check? It is also brushless. Thanks to anyone who can help

Does you generator have a small yellow or red reset button on the panel? Its like a circuit breaker on mine so take a close look for a reset.

A friend of mine has the same unit with the same problem. The problem sounds like the field has collapsed. I need the wiring diagram for the unit. I think that it can be reactivated by flashing the field if I can figure out where it is.

Most small engine shops have a flasher device , most will be happy to flash it for you .
You could try flashing it with a drill
Start the engine plug the drill in , put it in reverse hold trigger and spin drill by hand , this has worked for me before.
