I have been out of prison and have absolutely nothing! I have no food or money to buy anything. Is there some kind of help I can get to get Me on My feet.I live in Dupo Illinois and feel I'm falling apart.

I've never heard of any aid for felons. Try googling it. Maybe you could collect cans. I don't know.

Well dupo illinios is bad enough if you have a job, so I would hich hike to some where or anywhere that is not there.

You can of course live down by the train yards, a lot of homeless in that area and there are several missions that help feed the homeless there and in the St Louis area.

But check out many of the missions, some help with job training, job placement and the such.

The best places to be homeless are in San Fran. and new orleans. Get a job as quick as possible. People are still recovering from the Hurricane Katrina down south in Miss. And Louisiana. Lot of people are still homeless(thousands) More construction jobs than you would know what to do with. Pitch a tent at the camp grounds 12.00 a night around lake ponchatrain go to work. Your main priority is work work work! Illinois is the worst place to be homeless. Construction jobs starting at 15.00 hr just for laborer.

Also there are federal and state programs for food stamps, there are various job training programs, there are day labor places to get day jobs and so on.
