Okay, so I have never gotten my period before but today I went to the bathroom and saw what I think is brown discharge. It doesn't look like blood, but it is thick.

Your period.

It's what us women call "spotting" usually a small amount of blood that you notice when you wipe or in your underwear. It usually signifies the start or end of your period, in your case... the start.

Yeah, as above, it's the beginning of your period. Get ready with some pads and advil.. lol
