I wish I could help you but sadly I can't but maybe we'd be able to figure it out together(im taking grade 11 pre-cal )

How?

g(x)=3x+1

3x=g(x)+1
-1 -1

3x-1=g(x)

g^-1(x)=3x-1

The ^-1 means root of -1, which means inverse in this case.

Wow make me feel really stupied cause we just took roots and vertex and stuff but we were never really tot about invise but the way you have ut makes tons of sense to me
