Won't start, no spark after installing new spark plug
Anything else I can check relating to getting a spark?

What was the unit doing prior to changing the plug that lead you to the plug? Tell me some symptoms.

It was running fine, then would not start, nothing, checked gas, filters, changed plug and tested to see if it had spark, found no spark, plug is wet with gas, turns over just fine, but will not start or even appear to start

Could be the kill wire going from either kill button, or kill switch to the coil. Remove this wire and check for spark.

Are you testing for spark THROUGH the spark plug, or from the end of the coil wire where it connects to the spark plug? If you have no fire at either, sounds as though the coil could be bad. And not knowing which unit you own, or the age of the unit, consider the cost of the parts and labor (if applicable) vs. the worth of the unit. Some of these little coils are extremely high. Where as say you give $79.00 for the WHOLE unit 2 years ago, and the coil is, lets say going to cost $47.99 plus tax, then about $20.00 to $30.00 for labor, see what I am saying, cost vs. worth. Be cautious of this.
