Can anyone out there help me with my log splitter? It's a used 10.5 ton with a 5hp Briggs and stratton. There is a part that threads onto the end of the ram that's like a channel that rides the I beam down when it makes it's stroke. It is one piece of metal with the channel part on the bottom and a flat pad that pushes the log down the I beam towards the wdege. That broke on me! The splitter has no markings except on the engine. I have no idea what company makes it nor how old it is. I have searched northern tool with no luck. I don't even know what to call this piece. Ram end? Slide? Any help would be great. I'm going to take it to the local rental place that rents splitters tomorrow and see if they can help. Thanks a lot! :(

Find a good welding shop and tell them to make you a piece heavy duty enough to where it will not break again. I think this is referred to as the "ram head", "push plate", or , ohh I lost my train of thought, sorry.
