what is 2x-y=6
Then you do not have enough information to answer this.
You will need to one of the variables, x or y, to find the answer.

slope intercept form is y=mx + b
m being slope
so

2x - y = 6

-y = -2x + 6

y= 2x -6

m = 2

not sure what the others are talking about but oh well.
