Hi there
I split up with my ex boyfriend when I discovered he had stolen practically all my money from my bank account.
I am pursuing the stolen money through the Bank's fraud dept and the police so no problem there as yet.
However, they (the police) tell me because I let my ex drive my car with my consent it is a civil matter. So the police will not retrieve it for me. The tax runs out tomorrow and I can not afford to tax it and he is using it. I have already contacted DVLA and let them know the situation.
How do I get my car back from this awful person.
I live in East Yorkshire in England.
Thank you.
