Win2K PRO :
Usually my photo folders show the thumbnail images upon opening a folder.
Now for some reason they do not, When in "VIEW" I go from chking large icons to thumbnails. They still do not show. Would like to see t-nails of photos in the folder, makes for easier selection process. Can any one help?
Thanks

Hi,
Have you tried this?
Go to My Documents, or Windows Explorer, then at the top, click on View.
Then, put a checkmark by "As a Web Page". and be sure, as you say, there is a checkmark by Details. If "view as a web page" is not checked, there will be no room for the thumbnails to show up on the screen.
Then, click on Apply, and OK.
You can also, under Folder Options, set all windows like this one.
Best wishes,
fredg

Hi, Read the reply and I don't have "as web page" listed under VIEW
Using Win2K pro. Some more info :Basically the thumbnails were photos in any of my photo folders. Now they are the thumbnails of just the title & icon of photo program used to open the it. I have set the preview option but that only shows photo in corner of window after I click on image. Would like ot view all at once.
Possible recent reinstall of Office 2K has done something to this?
Seems like it is an easy solution I just can't figure it out.
Thanks.

It is quite possible that any installation of an app that uses graphics also, has taken control over those pictures through 'associations' Check on one of your previous files and click properties, or associate with, or 'open with' and choose what they are to be handled by from now on. Good Luck. I'm not famliar with your OS but it should pretty much work like XP.
