We have a 1927 home with unfinished basement.
Painted cement block walls
7 foot ceilings with exposed ductwork, wiring, floor joists, etc
Cement floor
We are trying to make it liveable.
Our plans are to paint the ceiling black, venetian plaster the walls, and stain the cement floor. We are in the process of learning how to do all these things.
Question about the ceiling:
Should we spray or paint? There are a lot of wires and ductwork and exposed wood. Brushes would get behind things but would be VERY cumbersome. What about spraying - isn't there a "sprayless" sprayer?
Thanks

You could rent an "Airless" sprayer from your local paint supplier(Use appropriate breathing gear)

I live in a converted barn and we had the painter spray the ceilings to seal them from the old 'farm' smells,as well as to make it more appealing ,he used a sprayer and it took quite well.
