I have just been given notice the landlord will is putting the home I am renting on the market tomorrow. My lease is up in Dec. I want to to know what my rights are according to Utah law. Does this enable me to find a new home now or am I stuck until the home is sold?

Technically, whoever buys the place has to honor your lease. So no, you can't break the lease and find a new home. However, depending on the market, the spot might sell better if there is no tenant in it (because there are people who might buy it, but don't want to be landlords), so you may be able to work something out with your landlord, if you are wanting to move. There's probably no harm in talking to him about the situation.

This does not allow you to get out of the lease. The landlord may want to allow you out, so you can ask. But you are bound to the terms of the lease, just as the new owner would be.
