I have been with this man for many years we have a child together I love him but don't want to be stupid.what should I do I am so lost we have been apart for a year

Well if you are dating a married man then it's a little too late to not want to act stupid.
Leave him be. Allow him to be in your child's life and be a father but you should not be pursuing a romantic relationship with him.
