Hi all,

I have a 98 Ram 1500, the dashboard has cracked on the passengers side. Dodge service said it was a problem between 1998 & 99 in some trucks. How do I get information on how-to do-it yourself, dashboard replacement. I purchased one from a auto dismantler and it's in my garage. Are there any short cuts or pointers someone can assist me with.

Ps. Years ago I was a service technician for Ford and have replaced dashboards in Lincoln's

I would pick up a haynes manual or other similar book for your truck should tell you the proper way to remove it.
