I have a weedeater which was running OK until the gas line went bad. Since I replaced it it will not run. If I squirt fuel into the carb it will run but never on it's own. I have since
Replace the Carb gasket, I see fuel in the new line and at times see AIR BUBBLES in the gas line from the tank to the carb. Thanks for any help.

Try adjusting the carb. Do the high speed at one full revolution back out, and the low speed one and a half to two full revolutions back out, then go from there.

It only has a high speed on the carb which I have adjusted, it runs very well as long as I squirt fuel into the rear of the carb. I can keep it running this way until I decide to quit squirting.

Axle, since it ran until you replaced the fuel lines I'd start by retracing what you did. Are you sure you replaced the clunker/filter on the correct line? And is the clunker able to reach below the fuel level. Start here and come back with your results.

There is one fuel line from the tank to the carb. I placed a new one and if I pull it off the carb. Fuel comes out at a steady rate, When I hook it to the carb. After I run the engine using the squirt bottle the fuel line has air bubbles in it however the engine never picks up using fuel from the tank on it's own.

I don't know your model but most weedeaters have two lines entering the tank. Does your trimmer have a primer bulb?

No, it does not have a primer bulb.trhe tanks is on the top and the line comes down from the tank into the carb. On the left side.

I have one of this weed eater and I was having this problem also.I purchased a new Carburator kit installed it and I haven't had any problems since then. It is about $ 16.00 dollars and you can view the whole thing on YouTube on how to replace it. Good luck to you!
Hi ncabrera.
Did you have a question , or was you answer yourself ?
