Would be really helpful to hear everyone's advice/opinions!
I reckon it's a question that'll help all us guys!
Be nice to get the opinions of both the ladies, and the guys too.

I think to be yourself is the most important thing in a relationship!
That way you don't get any unpleasant surprises as you get further into the relationship!
I have seen couples have problems where one has become taken for granted if one pays for everything, trouble with one partner smoking and hiding it, more trouble when the partner changes their behavior in front of their friends!
Sorry to rant but I bet you're great! Be yourself!

Never talk about how you think another girl is pretty. Ever. Lol, I bet that's pretty obvious and kind of common sense, but I know a bunch of guys who do it.
Don't become obsessive... thats a huge mistake that no girl puts up with. Unless they're into that... but there's probably 2% of the population who is.
If you're jealous for some reason... calmly tell her that you are and give her specific reasons. Keeping jealousy inside only makes it worse until you eventually explode with it... and that's never good. If you are kind and explain why you are jealous in the first place, she'll probably be very happy that you talked it out with her.
These are just some that come off the top of my head. Just important ones that a lot of my guy friends seem to have trouble with.
Ill post more once I think of them. :)

There's a LOT I look for in a guy. You have to be supportive and genuine. Be sweet and secure with yourself. Let her feel and know that you see her as the only girl you want. Tell her what you like about her. Try to compliment her at least once a day- it's a small thing but it really makes a girl feel good. Smile at her sometimes for no reason, its cute. Hold her hand and when you hug her, squeeze her but not to the point where she can't breath, obviously lol. Be on her side, you want to be partners not always battling each other. ALWAYS respect her. Never try to force her into doing anything she doesn't want to do. I love it when my boyfriend plans out something for us to do. I, as well as many other girls, want you to take control and say lets do this. There's just infinitely so much more.. Mainly.. its common sense. Good luck :p

just be yourself.........spend lots of time with your girl............but dont forget ur friends.............dont ever believe lies about her, confront her in a polite way.........look into her eyes and ask her the question, i promise u she can't tell a lie when ur doing that. dont ever say I LOVE U when u just started dating............say it if u mean it in a few months from that start date. dont ever huck up with another girl or cheat on her......trust me she would mess up (depending on the girl)........o nd finally if you want the relationship to end dont say ITZ OVER she'll feel crushed.....end it on a good note like lets be friends ;)

I don't see how you could have any problems Cal you're a real sweetie. Just a pity you live in a different country, are too young for me and I'm already taken! Argh foiled from the start!
But seriously, communication is the key to a relationship. As long as you listen and share your thoughts everything else falls into place. Any problems I have ever had in my relationship have been down to lack of communication or were solved by a good old chat.
