Hello, At the divorce settlement, our home was relinquished to myex- husband but upon presentation of a deed which was never given to me by my lawyer or his. This was 1994. 1995 I had to return to Trinidad to take care of my ailing Mom. I just found out that my ex-husband went to a notary and carried a witness, the notary wrote on the deed that I appeared before him on the 8th of August 2003. My signature in on the deed which was forged because I was not in America 2003. My passportss will be proof of that. What do you think. Inez Mclean Nero. Thanks

I think he did wrong, he should have UPS it to you, had you sign it and send it back to him. But since the house was given to him by the court, he did not take anything from you, so he did not steal anything,

I would forget about it and get on with my life and stop worrying about what an X did years ago

I agree with Chuck here. What he did was unethical, but all he did follow the what was agreed to in the divorce.
