My copper water pipes are deteriorating. The water is from a private municipal supply regulated by DEP. The water is aggressive with a low pH. Allegedly, DEP is not urgently granting a solution to rectify the pH. As with a water heaters' sacrficial anode which reverses the polarity of the water to tank electro-molecular balance, is there a similar solution for domestic copper pipes by inducing a low DC current with the proper polarity, and which, would be safe and non-detectable for humans?

What area are you in? I was in the orlando fl area for about 15 years and the copper is also deteriorating there. I know how to stop it.
