Hey there, is there anyone out there that can help me? All of a sudden my drive won't recognize blank cd's when inserted. I try to burn music cd's and put a blank disc in but it keeps saying "no disc inserted". I am running Windows XP, the computer is about a year and a half old. Don't know whether space on hard drive is an issue in this but I only have about 15% space left. I run defrag often. I can't make a cd on NTI CD & DVD Maker, or through I-tunes, or through E: drive by drag and drop method. I keep getting told to put in a cd, even though there is one in there! Its frustrating me! HELP PLEASE!! Thanks heaps for taking the time to read my question, much appreciated :o

Can it still read regular CDs? The CD drive may have gone out.
