Hello more:

You need to get an A & P license first off.

I have an A&P, and about 12 years experience working on rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft. I would like to specialize in structural repair/modifications and corrosion control.

Hello again, joe:

Cool. Having an A&P is a big advantage, of course. Since this is the business plan board, you need a business plan. You can buy several varietes on the web for about $50. They'll take you step by step through the process of completing your business plan, including raising the money and how to spend it.

Excellent dialogue going on above!

Since you already have some years experience in maintenance of aircraft, you can also find business plans on the following site and tailor one to suit you according to your needs based upon the information that you find in other business plans.
