I have installed Microsoft VX-1000 lifecam on my computer loaded with window XP. I can see my image through the software given with the cam. However, when I try to open the image through Yahoo messenger, it says Yahoo messenger not able to locate the web cam! what could be the reason please

Are all the required drivers installed?

Does Yahoo see the cam on the list of installed devices?

Close any other programs that might be using the camera, then close Yahoo and open it back up again. A lot of times, you can only be using the camera from one program at a time.
