I have a 4 month old daschund puppy who developed a red spot in the middle of her breast bone yesterday. It looks as if there is bleeding in the inside of her skin. She had some swelling and was shivering. The swelling is about the same but the size of the red spot has increased. She does not want to eat, if she eats she chokes on her food, not wanting to drink either.

Why haven't you taken her to a vet instead of asking us for advice??

Chances are even if somebody here recognized the symptoms, you would need the vet to fix it.
