I have been receiving an error that reads vtdisp display driver has shut down normally and that I need to reboot my computer. I reboot the computer and I get a message that reads the computer has recovered from a serious (fatal) error. I have went to Microsoft updates and there aren't any updates that I have not installed. Help me please. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

1) Go to the site for the company that makes your video card and download a new driver.
2) Buy a new video card, and when the hardware is detected Windows will automatically install the driver.
I just did a quick search, and it looks like this problem is related to certain embedded video cards. There are a number of sites offering free downloads of the driver, but I wouldn't trust any of them. Instead, you'll probably be better off just buying a new video card and installing it. They cost about $100 at most electronics stores, and if you don't how to install it yourself it usually costs about $50 to have the store install it for you. It'll be money well spent
