I had a friend replace my old thermostat with a new LUXPRO PDS 100 this summer and I had problems with my Frigidaire central air / heating system to work. At first it would not blow cool air and he came back and switched wire around. It work on cool fine for the last month and a half, but I now switched it to heat and the fan blows but no heat. There are 5 wires, green-yello-white-red-orange and I have electric no gas can someone tell me how this should be wired correctly?

Yel=Y
Grn=G
Wht=W
Org=O
Red= RC &Rh jumpered

This is assuming that these color wire are corresponding at the air handler and that this is a heatpump How is it wired now? What stat do you have?
