If you sign away your paternal rights does that abolish ALL legal obligation including child support or do you still have to pay even though the child is no longer legally yours?

Signing away your parental rights simply means that you no longer have the right to make decisions regarding the health and welfare of your child. It does NOT mean that you are no longer responsible to financially support a child you created.
