I went to the defendants banking institute (I don't have his account #) and showed them the judgment where their customer was mandated to pay me the $3500 they stole from me and the bank told me I had to hire an attorney to place a bank lien. Is this true? Is there a way to place a bank lien without having to dish out 5k for a lawyer? I don't know their account # and the bank definitely doesn't want to help even though I have a judgment.

First did you have an attorney do your case to get a judgement,

Next to file one paper in court to order a judgement would only cost a few hundred dollars.

I represented myself in court and I now have the judgment against them.

If you are not sure how to do it, see if you can look though court records of other judgments with attachments of bank accounts, use the format of other cases.

The judgement is not enough. You now have to back to the court and hsave the judge issue an attachment order. It may be required that you know the account number.

Why would you think the bank would want to help? You are trying to take THEIR customer's money.
