Say you kill it and then it will not start until it cools? How is your air filter and fuel filter?
Or does it die, and then will not start until it cools off?

Starter solenoid could be getting hot & not working until cool

It doesn't die when running, I will mow part of the yard, turn it off to take a breah and it will not start until it cools. Motor spins when trying to start, also it seems to be getting fuel. Acts like it isn't getting spark.

I would still suspect that when you turn off the engine and it sets for a break, the heat from the engine setting there is helping to break down the coil. Check and see if it is getting spark after you shut it off for a break.

Mine does this occasionally. I take some bug spray (repel with deet LOL) remove the filter cover & spray it in there while trying to start it. If it starts then your problem is vapor lock. I hate when mine does it, but this procedure works.
