I have a Kenmore Dryer model 110.73022100 that runs but doesn't heat up. I have replaced the ingnitor, thermostate and thermostate fuse and nothing has helped.

I have detached and check the gas line which works fine but there is no ingition of the pilot when the dryer is turned on.

Any thoughts?

Have you cleaned the vent hose from back of dryer to where it exits house? Have you opend up the unit and cleaned the vents inside unit? Also there are 2 vent screen, 1 inlet & 1 exit for lint Also remove the vent housing inside the unit and clean. It is critical for all to be clean in order for dryer to dry clothes

I have cleaned out the exhaust vent but didn't do anything with the internal. We always clean out the lent trap but that's about as far as we have gone internally.

I will take a look at it.

Thanks,

You need to remove cabinet and clean thouroughly inside unit and disassemble the vent and blower housing
