What is a good way to gain weight. I took that BMI test and I'm under by like 5 pounds maybe more. Im tall so I look skinny. I try to eat 3 meals a day and I hear potatoes slow down your metabolism which I try to eat more of. What else can I do? Im active so I burn a lot of calories doing sports and such? Should I just take a break from sports for a bit?

Keep working out but up your food intake. You need to eat foods that take a long time to break down and that will slow your metabolism. Potatoes are good so are in other starchy foods like pancakes, bagels, bread. Also fattier foods are good in moderation since they will help slow your metabolic rate. So you can indulge in cheeseburgers and fries. Keeping working out though!!

I use to eat 2 cheese burgers a day, 2 apple pies and a medium coke and I never gained weight, probably just clogged arteries lol, ill just fill my locker up with food and constantly, I'm so use to junior high where you can even have a water bottle because it may contain drugs.

You have to eat a lot more then that. My ex-boyfriend was trying to gain weight (he was bulking up muscle wise) and the amount of food he would eat was disgusting. It was embarrassing when we would go out to restaurants. He would eat a large salad, a large pizza all by himself then dessert. Later on he would stop and get a milkshake and like an apple pie from Mcdonalds. That would just be dinner. He ate a lot and it took a while for his weight gain to happen. He said that when you are trying to gain weight you have to just eat into you feel sick and then eat some more. He also drank protein shakes during the day. You just have to eat and eat and eat.

Power bars are high in protein and packed with calories. They are good if you are trying to add muscle. You will "fill out" as you get older, too.

You won't be doing right until you are grossing people out ;)
