Who's not there for you and won't help you with an appeal and tell you to chalk the situation up and take your punishment like a man. Nor ever gave you a 3500 material (new york)

You make a motion to the court to have them replaced. You may also talk to the PD office and see if they will re-assign. But a Public Defender is there to be sure your rights are not violated.

You fire him just like you do anybody who works for you. Send him a letter telling him exactly what you told us. Send a copy to the judge and to the prosecutor.
