My 18 year old cousin is suffering from high body temperature of around 101 Fahrenheit or 38 Celsius (at all times) for past 2 years.

She had been tested for all kinds of pathogen/bacteria/virus infection including body scans/x-rays etc. But still unable to determine the reason for high body temperature. Due to this condition she is always feeling very tired due to high level of metabolism.

1) Are you aware of something like this?
2) Is there a clinical name for this kind of abnormality/condition?
3) Is there a web site where I can find more info on this type of condition?

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Has she had an MRI done? I'm not sure how Poikilothermia is diagnosed, but if they have tested for various other causes and come back with nothing, this is certainly something to look into. Here is some info on poikilothermia:

Damage to the hypothalamus can cause problems with thermoregulation. Anyway, I hope that helps.
