I have a kenmore stackable washer & dryer that when it fills with water it will not agitate it just humes . I took the front off and you can see the motor shaft start to turn but it stops. Is there a simple fix ?

Does it spin? If so, but will not agitate only the dogs are bad and need replaced. There are 4 of them. Very easy to replace and enexpensive. Remove the fabric softner dispenser form agitator, remove the cover with the bow tie grip on it. Remove the 7/16 bolt and pull the agitator out of unit and place on floor. Put feet on the base and pull up to separate the 2 halfs. The cam assembly will now come out. Replace the 4 dogs and reassemble. Good Luck
