I need some help. I have a brand new house with a septic system. When it rains I have a sewer smell that comes up from the basement. Im not sure why I only have the problem when it rains. Could someone please help?:confused:

Sewer gas raises with heat and sinks behind cold or rainy weather so you smell it more in chilly or rainy weather. This makes me take a hard look at your vents.
