How do I transfer to another county if I'm on felony probation:confused:

You need to go to the local probation office, give them a permanent address where you will be staying in the city you are transferring to and they will complete the papers for your transfer. You in turn,have either 48 or 72 hrs. to make contact with the new probation office. I know this for a fact as my son got a transfer the day he got our of jail from a felony conviction.

If you have the right to move within the state without notifying your PO, then move and contact the old po.

I know this for a fact as my son got a transfer the day he got our of jail from a felony conviction. well did he have to complete any thing first like pay all his fines or community service.:confused:

He pays a monthly fine to the Clerk of Court(for 5 yrs which is the length of his probation) where the offense occurred, which is not the county he was residing in prior to being incarcerated. He pays a monthly maintenance fee to the Probation Office where he is now living and reports there once a month.

I am currently on unsupervised probation for concealing stolen property with two to do? I am wanting to transfer my probation from OK to OR. How long will it take and what is required of me to transfer?
