How do I replace a ceiling fan pull switch?

Make sure power is off, remove lights if any, remove the three (3) small screws on bottom of fan bottom cover remove bottom cover.remove old fan switch after noteing the wireing hook up. Remove swith and install new one, you will have to use wire screew nuts to tie the wires togreather. Replace bottom cap install three small screws, replace light fixture . Turn on power. A new fan switch can be purchased at any elect. Supply , Lowe's home depot etc.
