I am not quite sure what this could be. It has happened on and off since my teenage years (in my 30's now) and I had it checked out when I was a teenager but can't recall what the doctor said. It seems to have to do with food. It actually hadn't happened in a very long while (through 2 pregnancies) but now it has started up again. It seems that if I wait to long to eat, or don't eat enough, I start feeling extremely cranky and my head gets fuzzy, my hands shake and I feel all around rotten. I also feel like I am going to faint (which used to happen when I was a teenager). Of course I should get it checked out, but I have no health insurance and bills to pay. Any thoughts or suggestions would be so helpful. Thank you.

It sounds like hypoglycemia, low blood sugar. Just eat more snacks between meals to keep your blood sugar up and you won't experience faintness. You are the type of person who burns more energy and your blood sugar drops down.

Research diabetes, it seems to me you may have it. With out eating you get shakey, your blood sugar may drop and you may get fuzzy and light headed. Do some research you may find the syptoms you are feeling with diabetes, of course this is simply a suggestion.
