Harbor Breeze ceiling fan will only run in one slow speed now. House is not even two years old. Any suggestions other than to toss it?
Thanks
Jeff

Possible the other windings in the motor are burnt out.

Most use a dual capacitor. If one of the caps were shorted, you'd get that effect.

The speed switch could be faulty too as well as what esquire said.

Sounds like a bad capacitor to me too.
