Bioinformatics is anything involving the handling of data related to biological systems or studies.

Bioinformatics of molecular models covers a wide range of things. It includes looking at the molecular structures of chemicals and seeing how this affects the way they interact and work in biological systems, this can be done using computational and mathematical techniques. It's commonly used to make methods of predicting what the effects of chemicals will be within a system.
