I have a 92 Accord that won't start sometimes.I have found that if I pump the gas pedal while I'm cranking it, the car starts every time. But if I don't mash the gas first, it acts like it want's to start for just a second and then just starts winding and then will not start at all no matter if I mash the gas or not. After that, I can usually let it sit for about 30 minuets and then crank it.

I have a similar problem with my 95 del sol especially in cold and wet weather.. did you have any luck on finding what the cause is?? I am thinking about getting a fuel system cleaning done and also getting spark plugs and may be battery change.. don't know if that would help but...

. Run through the tests outlined in sections A and B below:
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/cars-trucks/faq-how-troubleshoot-repair-maintain-hondas-46563.html#post219438
. Check for codes--such as Throttle Position Sensor or MAP Sensor.
. Ensure fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor cap, plug wires, and rotor have been recently replaced.
. Perform K-Test on ECM
. Remove and test igniter and coil at AutoZone (free).
