I am 24. I have been nausaous and vomiting for the past 3 weeks, along with occasional lower abdominal pain ( kind of like when you do sit-ups more sore than cramping).. I have been an insomniac for over 10 years and find myself taking naps during the day and falling asleep in 15 minutes even with naps. I have been moody. I have lost weight (which is common in my family for the first 4 months of pregnancy).. My vomiting is more bile than food, the only food that comes back up is what I don't like at the moment (ie I had a chef salad with chciken noodle soup and tator tots and I didn't really like the lettuce.. so the only thing that came back up was the lettuce, not the tomatoe, chicken, turkey, eggs, bacon, broccoli, chick peas, soup or tator tots.. ).. I have been having food cravings, and my breast have grown. My period which normally comes like a flood and ALWAYS LAST FOR AT LEAST 7 DAYS was very lite and only came for 3 days... My doctor said it was an acid problem, but other than passing gas I am not really burping too much, and I find I get nausous when I get upset, or over do it. I took a blood test, but it was only one week after I had sex and there were also no clots with my period, which is something that also always happens, and I am on birth control pills so my period is always normal and it was 4 days late... People think I am pregnant, but I don't think so... I need some ideas to give the doctor because the aciphex prespiction he gave me is not working for the nausau nor vomiting, I have no diahrea, but constipation. My period is due in a couple of days and I shoud be PMSing already and nothing Could it be an ulser or something else?

Sounds to me as though you are pregnant, but took the test too early.

Wait until your period is a week late then test with a HPT using first morning urine.

I tend to agree with J_9. Write down all the symptoms so you don't forget anything and talk to your doctor. He/she may want to run a blood test to check for pregnancy. Either way, if you have all the symptoms available to describe, it will help get you an accurate diagnosis.

Good luck

If you have thyroid problems you DEFINITELY need to be checked out by your doctor.
