I had my periods from 15-20 aug last month.. me and my boyfreind had anal on 25th... n he came in my.. I washed out the stuff almost immediately.. and I washed my vagina as well.. to play safe I had emerency contraceptives as well around 18 hrz after what happened... n another dosage 12 hrs later... I thot this was enuf because like I think a woman ovulates around 14 days after the periods have finished... n I dinn have direct contact of my vagina with the semen... tho m not sure if it came in contact with it durin the washing period... my problem is that I started bleeding on 2nd of sept... i.e yesterday and my period is due on 15 of sept.. it was marOonish dark red and it wasn't heavy.. tho it wasn't very light either... today I got an okay kind of flow and the blood was red... but not like my regular periods... I'm really worried because I think these are the symptoms of implantation bleeding... could I be pregnant?. owin to the fact that I've never had contraceptives before ever... could this be a side effect?. HELP ME OUT... I'M RILLY RILLY WORRIED...
N like I had to change two pads of blood uesterday... I mean you dunn bleed that much in implantation... even though its not that heavy.. bt I've heard you only get spots... fer a day or two... does brownish blood always indicate implantation??
N like I've read it happens 6-12 days after ovulation... n my ovulation date was due on around 3 sept.. accordingly I shudve bled by aroun 9th-12 sept... bt I started bleedin on 3rd itself... advice...

Emergency contraceptives are a large dose of hormones, and can throw your period off track.

Anal sex cannot get you pregnant, period. So you don't have to worry about that. Even if the semen came in contact with your vagina during washing, you still wouldn't be pregnant.

The bleeding is more than likely coming from the emergency contraceptives. :)

You're welcome. It is very common to have an early period after taking emergency contraceptives. :)

It could take a month or two to get back on track. If you don't get your period at your normal time, don't get too worried.

EC is a huge dose of hormonal birth control. Your cycle is a sensitive thing. Things such as hormones, stress, diet and even exercise can throw your periods off.

Brown blood indicates old blood. It is just your body cleansing itself of the old stuff.

Implantation bleeding is not as common as everyone thinks. Not every woman bleeds during implantation, and it hasn't even been scientifically proven that implantation is what causes bleeding in early pregnancy. :)
