The remote control on my Hampton Bay ceiling fan does not now, activate the fan or lights, even though it has in the past. I've checked the remote control code and replaced the battery... all seems OK. Does anyone have a suggestion or can you provide where I might find an answer from Hampton Bay?

Does the LED light up? Does the fan have pullchains?

Yes, the LED light on the remote does come on. Is there an instruction page somewhere I can access for additional help?

I forgot to add... no the ceiling fan does not have pull chains. The ceiling fan is approximately 6 years old but seldom used because of its location in the house. Therefore I would expect it to be just like a new unit.

Check the dip switches. Have you had any power outages recently?
